Reporting to the General Manager, Wild Harvest, the role of Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the warehouse and transport operation at our site in New Covent Garden, London. The role holder plays in a key role in ensuring the efficient running of the delivery and warehouse team operation and that productivity and costs are in line with defined KPI’s. The Operations Manager works in partnership with the senior team to support continuous improvement and customer growth across the business.
Running an efficient and cost effective warehouse and driver operation – in line with defined KPIs
Ensures that the required training and planning is in place to maintain a robust warehouse and operations team.
Maintain high standards of health and safety practices.
Continuously drives and maintains high standards of service to our customers - at all points of interaction.
Responsibilities & Duties
Daily review of sales orders and plan resource and deliveries accordingly.
Work in collaboration with the WH sales team to ensure orders are delivered on time and accurately.
Recommend and implement operational and organisational changes (for example: route changes, packing processing)
Engage the team in order to create a 'raising the bar' attitude and promote team effort – through regular communication, 1:1s and performance reviews.
Resourcing and training of all new drivers and warehouse staff.
Ensure all driver and warehouse team receive required training and identify future training needs.
Responsible for maintaining high standards of stock inventory accuracy and quality.
Responsible for all Food, Health and Safety accreditation.
Responsible for routine vehicle maintenance and ensuring legal compliance of van fleet.

Previous experience in operations supervisor/management role
