Fresh Direct wear red for Heart FM ’s ‘Have a Heart Day’
On 19th March Fresh Direct Bicester took part in Oxfordshire’s Heart FM charity day – ‘Have a Heart Day’. Have a Heart focuses on making a difference to the lives of local kids, those who are vulnerable, face adversity, suffer from illness or are deprived of the childhood that every child deserves. For this particular event, Fresh Direct participated by paying £1 to wear red for the day, however those who failed to turn up wearing the colour were fined £5! Many staff wore their funky Fresh Direct ‘I love fruit and veg’ t-shirts, a perfect choice for ‘Have a Heart Day’ which helped towards raising a whopping £120! Sharron from Sales Support was even interviewed by the radio station about Fresh Direct’s participation in the fundraiser! In total Heart FM raised £307,600 for the cause. Well done everyone at FD Bicester that took part.
