We're one big team here but you could slot into any area including; Sales, Customer Services, Sales Admin, Marketing, IT, Procurement, Technical, Human Resources, Warehouse, Transport, New Product Development, Quality Control, Production or Finance. We know there's a lot but there really is something for everyone.

"Working within procurement at FD is fun and enjoyable but can be very challenging. It certainly keeps you on your toes! You never know what the day will bring; as each day is very different to the next. 

We work together with suppliers from all different countries to try and fulfil all customer needs and requirements. We also have to work very closely with various internal FD departments, Qc, account managers, sales, operations; which highlights a very central role.

"I joined Fresh Direct as a transport supervisor (nights) nearly 5 years ago. I am now the Transport Manager responsible for 80 members of staff and nearly 50 vehicles. We deliver to some of the biggest names in the hotel and restaurant sector so it is up to my team to present the face of Fresh Direct to our customers and some very demanding chefs! It is a very busy environment to work in but when it all fits together it can be very rewarding. Add this to the fact that I live locally and Fresh Direct is a company that is always developing I look forward to the challenges that are to come."
