Every day is a challenge as we have a huge variety of products to produce for our customers. It’s all about delivering safe, consistent and premium products across a diverse range, as well as new product development.

Sarah Ward - Senior Quality Assessor

I have worked for the Group since 1998 and I am am based at our Corby site. I am responsible for ensuring all fresh produce is within our exacting specifications and meets our processes and procedures. Every day brings different challenges, driven by seasonal changes and product quality considerations.

I’m relatively new to the business, I have been here for just over 18 months. I look after both Fresh Direct and Wild Harvest. The people I interact with on a daily basis are great. I have a real bond with many of them and everybody gets along. There is a positive working culture and everybody helps each other out. My favourite product is Leon Waffle Fries, they are delicious! We are just one big family at work.
